Our Classses

  • Workout of the day

This is our "Classic CrossFit" session for individuals looking to develop a well-rounded fitness. A combination of weightlifting, bodyweight and cardio elements in a mix of patterns for time, reps or rounds.

This is a one hour session with a warm up, 1 to 2 strength and conditioning pieces, and a cool down.

  • Beginners Crossfit

Our Beginners CrossFit sessions are for new members with little to no CrossFit experience looking to develop a well-rounded fitness.

CrossFit is a combination of weightlifting, bodyweight and cardio elements and our Beginners sessions are an entry-level option for those who are very new or unconfident in the gym.

These sessions are one hour in length and include a warm-up, Strength/skill section, conditioning piece, and cool down. The aim of these sessions is to introduce newcomers to both CrossFit and the general culture of the gym; and to develop your fitness and confidence to eventually attend the regular WOD (Workout of the Day) sessions.

  • Open Gym

An open session for more advanced athletes to work on their individual programs outside of class. Open to all members and non-members with at least 6 months of CrossFit experience.

Open gym runs all day, but Open Gym spaces are reduced when a group session is running. During theses times, sessions run every 30 minutes to allow you to book in to the exact time slots that you need. If buying one off sessions for this, please email xlab@fitlab.uk so we can book your remaining time slots for you.

  • Olympic Weight Lifting

This group session is for individuals looking to improve their competency in the highly technical Snatch and Clean-and-Jerk movements and their variations. Learning to become efficient with these movements helps to develop speed, power, coordination, mobility and total body strength like no other movements known.

  • Aerobic Capacity

An endurance-based group session aimed at improving the capacity of your aerobic system. Perfect for those training for marathons, triathlons, or just those simply looking to sweat in a low-skill setting to improve their engine. We utilise sustainable, repeatable efforts on the bikes, rowers and ski-ergs and combine them with running, burpees and skipping to build your engine in a fun and encouraging setting.
